Subscribers Page
Subscribers Page Overview
The Subscribers Page is your one‐stop destination for tracking the effectiveness of your interactive popups. It aggregates and displays key performance metrics—such as impressions and subscriber counts—over selectable timeframes. Using interactive charts and detailed tables, this page helps you understand how well your popups are engaging customers and driving conversions.
Key Features
1. Summary Metrics
Monthly Totals: At the top of the page, you’ll see a summary card that displays the total number of impressions (the number of times popups have been shown) and the total number of subscriptions (the number of customers who have engaged with your popups) for the current month.
Usage Scale (Optional): For merchants on certain plans, a usage slider (CombinedThreshold) illustrates where your current usage falls within the limits of Free, Business, or Business Plus plans. This visual guide helps you quickly determine if you might need to upgrade your plan.
2. Interactive Time Series Chart
Dynamic Graphs: A responsive line chart shows the trends for both impressions and subscriptions over time. You can switch between different timeframes—such as 1 day, 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, 1 year, and even longer—allowing you to zoom in on recent performance or review historical trends.
Time Frame Options: Choose a preset timeframe using a series of buttons. The chart automatically adjusts its x-axis (time scale) and y-axis (metric values) to display the corresponding data. Some helper functions determines the start and end dates for the selected period, others creates the non-cumulative data points for plotting.
3. Subscribers List & Detailed Data
Data Table: Below the chart, a detailed data table lists individual subscriber records. For each subscriber, you can view:
Email Address: Clickable links that direct you to the Shopify admin’s customer search for further details.
Subscription Time: The exact date and time when the subscriber engaged with your popup.
Reward Information: Details of the reward received, with links (when applicable) to view the discount or free product details in Shopify’s admin.
Pagination & Filtering: The table is paginated (showing 10 subscribers per page) and comes with filtering options:
Popup Filter: Select which popup’s subscribers to display or view all subscribers.
Custom Date Range: A popover date picker lets you filter subscribers by a specific date range (e.g., Today, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, etc.), giving you further control over the displayed data.
4. Helper Functions & Additional Insights
Utility Functions: Several helper functions support the analytics:
Customer & Discount URLs: Our app functions generate direct links to the relevant Shopify admin pages.
CombinedThreshold Component: This visual slider represents usage against fixed thresholds, guiding you on whether your current engagement levels are within your plan limits.
Real-Time Updates: The page updates the “current time” every minute, ensuring that the data displayed is as current as possible.
Error & Loading States: If there’s an error fetching data or if the statistics are still loading, the page displays clear messages so you know what’s happening.
