Settings Page
Settings Page Overview
The Settings page is your central control panel for app‑wide preferences that affect all popups and reward notifications across your store. Currently, it offers two primary settings groups that allow you to manage your branding and consent messaging, as well as control the content and design of email templates sent to your customers.
Branding
Remove “Powered by” Branding:
Every popup in the free version of our app displays a small “Powered by” label to help promote our service. If you’d like a cleaner, more professional appearance, you can request to hide this branding directly from this page.
How It Works: When you click the checkbox to hide the branding, the setting doesn’t update automatically. Instead, clicking the box triggers a support request and opens our Crisp chat widget. Our team will guide you through the process of removing the branding.
Support Process: Once the checkbox is clicked, the chat window opens, allowing you to message our support team. They typically respond within an hour. We appreciate your support in helping us offer the app for free. Just follow the instructions in chat, and the “Powered by” branding will be removed from your popups.
Consent Message
Disable Consent Checkbox and User Agreement on Popups: By default, all popups display a short consent message to inform users about marketing communications and data use. This message appears without a checkbox, meaning users automatically agree to the terms when submitting the popup form.
If you prefer to collect explicit consent, you can enable the checkbox option. This requires users to manually check a box before completing the popup and participating in any campaign (e.g., scratch-to-win).
Terms & Privacy URLs: You can add your custom URLs for your store’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. These links are automatically integrated into the consent message to ensure consistency with your legal and compliance requirements.
Email Notifications
Customize Reward Emails: Alongside popup settings, the Settings page also includes tools for editing the email templates sent when customers win a prize or receive a reward. For each email type, you can update the sender name, subject line, and design content using a full-screen visual editor.
Templates available for customization include:
Free Shipping Email
Free Product Email
Discount Email
Custom Message Email
Each template includes a default version, and you can reset your edits to the original design at any time.
Key Points to Remember
Global Impact: All changes made here are applied across every popup and email notification throughout your store, ensuring a consistent and branded customer experience.
Default Free Offering & Support: In the free version of the app, the “Powered by” branding is enabled by default. To remove it, simply check the option in the settings—this will open a support chat where our team typically replies within an hour to approve the request.
Implicit Consent by Default: The consent message is always shown, but no checkbox is required unless you enable it. This creates a seamless user experience while still allowing you to comply with stricter consent rules when needed.
Ease of Use: The interface is designed to be beginner-friendly, with toggles, input fields, and a visual email builder. Whether you're adjusting text or designing email layouts, you can make changes confidently without touching code.
By using the Settings page, you gain full control over the core aspects of your popup and email experience. These tools help ensure your branding, compliance, and customer communication are handled professionally, giving your store a polished and trustworthy presence. If you wish to remove the “Powered by” branding, just check the box, and our support team will promptly assist you in creating a more personalized popup experience.
